I need to explain the picture.

Kiley was tell us how Jason really wants to have her get her ears pierced because it is an easy gift. And I started to complain that Doug always gets me a $5 dollar pack of earrings with a set of 25 earrings. I was complaining about it making fun of him.

I felt terrible when I opened my stocking stuffer. They are really nice earrings only a 3 pack. He is learning.

Thanks Babe, I really like them, sorry for being so mouthy. Do you think I learned my lesson? Probably not, but I won't complain about earrings.

It was a hard drive home yesterday. The closest call was a guy on the cell phone that almost hit us. But it is stressful driving on bad roads.

Wes's Christmas Concert

We got to enjoy a great concert last night.

It was a really cold walk to the show. I hope the weather warms up for our drive.

We have another concert tonight. It should be great.

Excited to go

I'm really getting excited for a trip to Washington. I'm excited to shop with my sisters, craft with my mom. All the things we used to do when we lived closer.

We took the boys for a late night swim last night. Cole had to do some things for scouts. It was a nice family outing.

We are excepting a cold snap this weekend. Laramie will love that. She loves to be inside. I wish she could be an inside dog she is just a wild thing, she chews everything. It is a real pain.

Wes is home from school for the second day. He has a really bad cough, Ren is sick also. He has a stuffed up nose. I hope they are over it for the Christmas trip.

The kids should be home from school soon. I better get started on a snack. Have a great week.

Trying to fight the urge

I don't know how to spell urge but I hope you can figure it out.
That is how most of my posts go, right. (I hope you can figure out what I'm trying to say. Anyway...
I love to decorate, I have been looking at blogs all morning, wanting to copy their ideas. Everything is so cute. I'm trying to control my self. I want to jump in the car and head for Cody. But Cody really doesn't have the ribbon I want, I have already looked there. Maybe Billings, It would take me to long to get there and I would not be able to get home in time. I can think of all kinds of excuses. I just wish I could lose the desire to craft.
Everyone is busy this week. Kam asked me this morning if he could graduation from high school early. I told him he probably could, but doesn't he want to play football? He asked if he could play football and graduate early. I guess I could look into it for him.
Well I better get moving, I wish I liked to do laundry like I like to craft. Hope you have a great day!

The reason I got the camera out. Wes lost his first tooth last night. He said he wanted to wait to give his tooth to the tooth fairy until he showed his friend at school. He lost it about 15 minutes after we pulled it out. He was very disappointed! I need to remind the tooth fairy to pay up tonight....even though his tooth is lost!

Doug ran a scan on the computer, making it lots faster. It still has some glitches. It will not let me put the picture of the dining room. I will try again later.
I got a comment yesterday and now I'm worried that I might of said something about our local leaders or teachers or offended some of my readers. I hope you take this blog for what it is. Information for my family and friends so far away, venting lots of venting, just everyday journaling. I hope if I have offended you, you will still smile at me on the street of Greybull. Just thought I would get that off my chest.

Okay now that I'm done with that. Please tell me where this week went. Doug came home from work last night and said it was Wednesday. Where did Monday go, I really can't remember. Maybe I need to go to the Dr about this. I'm a little nervous. Maybe because I'm running all over the world I lost a day somewhere.

So here's my vent: The middle school didn't go to Billings which was great with me. They watched movie instead. But they didn't enforce the punishment. The kids that didn't earn the trip got to watch the movies too. Nice... way to go school.

Decorating for Christmas

We finished most of the decorating last night.

It feels like I have done this post before, maybe last year at this time. Doug went and got a great tree. He said the snow was really deep. There is rumblings of a fake tree for next year. I so excited I really like the real tree it is just alot of work and clean up.

Hey, What's Going On!

Not enough on my part, I have so much to do to get ready for Christmas. Doug is going to get a tree today. We are going to Washington for Christmas so we only have a few weeks to enjoy the decorations.
Kam was disappointed in the 25 point party this semester. It is an award program at school. You get points for good grades, reading, good behavior things like that. Anyway they where going to go to a fun water park in Thermopolis, but the pool is under construction. So now they are going to the Billing Mall. He is not impressed. I should give him my list. Is there a movie theater in the mall? Maybe he could get in a movie. He is busy this week, the scouts are planning a snow camp out Friday and Saturday. He is turning into a teenager for sure.
Cole and Wyatt are playing lots of basketball.
Wes is liking school.
Ren and I are just hanging out, cleaning, folding things like that.
Doug is busy this week, he is reffing Thursday in Greybull and in Cody on Friday. He likes to ref over at Cody because they like him. He never hears anything from Greybull, so he doesn't know if they like him or not. Just one of those things.

Thanksgiving Report

We had a great weekend!! Thanks to the Johnsons. It was great to have them here. The kids played great, no fighting, lots of laughing, ghost stories, just a great time.

Thanksgiving Ideas

I have been on the computer all morning trying to find some cute idea to decorate my Thanksgiving table. I found this at the bakery when I went to Ron's. It is perfect! I think the kids can make them. I hope I can find some eyes at Walmart tomorrow.

Weekend Report

We had a fun weekend. Doug and the big boys went to the cowboys game, it was the last game of the season. They had a great time, enjoyed seeing all our Laramie friends. They even got in a basketball game. It was a long Saturday, they left at 5:00 in the morning and got home about 1:30 in the morning.
We have an excited week. Larry and Keisha Johnson are coming to visit from Washington. They have 5 kids so the house will be full. It is going to be a great time!
I'm getting nervous about cooking Thanksgiving dinner all by my self. I decide to buy rolls, Doug isn't excited about that but I'm lazy. I need to call my sisters in law and get all my favorite recipes they usually make. Luckily, Larry and Keisha are easy keepers so it will not be a lot of pressure.
I get to go to the doctor on Tuesday for my yearly, and lots of grocery shopping. I hope Doug will come and help me.
We are planning a trip to Cody on Friday for Black Friday. We only have Walmart and Maurice's so we should be home in plenty of time. We hope we get up to the mountain for some snow fun on Friday also. The guys are planning a pheasant hunt on Saturday.
I heard my parents made it home, hopefully they still have a job and a house and a dog.
I need to start taking more pictures. I don't have anything exciting to show.

I have a new folding table and hanging bar. I told my dad the table was to small and he told me one batch of laundry would fit, hint, hint. I guess it is useful if a finish a whole batch of laundry at one time. We will see if that works.
