Three visits in the month of August

I can honestly say I'm ready for August to be over.

Kam delocated his other knee tonight. It was crazy, he was begging anyone who would listen. To put it back in. I told the coaches to put it back in. I could tell they felt bad, but no one would put it in. After an ambulance ride, x-rays, and a shot of morfien Dr. Hill "Put it back in".

Kam is feeling better. We are trying to keep the swelling down so he can get treated faster. They are talking about surgery on both knee.

We go to the surgain tomorrow.

It is so Quiet

Going, going, gone....
The summer is over, I'm pretty sad about it. We have a great summer. We miss our dad alot but the boys and I have had a great summer.



Ren is sad this morning. He wants to go to school.

Wes had a bad morning. He kicked the bathtub with his bad toe and that made the morning rough. I'm going to have lunch with him in a few minutes.

Wyatt is excited to be the big man on campus.

Cole is excited to be with his friends. They are going off campus for lunch today, I hope that goes well.

Kam said he is excited for football. Let hope for a great year.

WARNING Really gross pictures!

This is pictures of Wes's toe. The shovel ripped off his toe nail and then the cut a gash in his toe. You can see the bloody line where we thought he might need stiches. He is doing really good, no pain medication at all.

I think he did cut his second toe a little bit. We were luckly to get service at the hospital. They had 2 person motorcycle accident where 2 life flight helicopters had to haul them off. It makes you feel a little bad when they are trying to serve your sons big toe when two lives are at stake.

ER visit #2

We are on a roll!!!

Weston dropped a shovel out of the back of the suburban tonight and it land on his big toe. It tore the nail completely off. He had a bad cut in his nail bed and need a x-ray to make sure it didn't break his toe. If the toe was broken he would of had a mini surgery. But the x-rays turn out great and we where sent on our way.

We did has a great day at the lake before that, and the Lovell hospital was great.

Work filled weekend

We had family here for the weekend. I must say I was disappointed in all the work and no play with my sisters and parents. But the fruit was ready to go and I was grateful for the help.

We got to go camping this weekend.
This is the conversation I had with Wyatt after church.
"Mom, Cole shouldn't be able to use the axe." I said, thinking it was the body spray "Why can't Cole use the axe?" "Because he cut himself with it." " What are you talking about?" Cole comes in. "Oh my goodness you mean a hatchet!!!! Cole, that needed stitches!!" So on Sunday after church we went to the ER and got a tetanus shot. We were also informed that "This should of been stitched a few days ago. " I told the Doctor I agree, and if we would of know about it, it would of been.

Another bot with something sharp. Wes decide he needed to cut his bangs.

I know I know, it is crazy. This is what happens on sunday night when there is no football on.

Doug paid his contractors yesterday and then took the rest of the day off. We went to Horse Shoe Bend. It is our new favorite place. We swam like crazy. We are hoping to plan a camping trip sometime soon. We are excited to go when it is warm. It topped out at 83 degrees and wind. Hopefully next time it will be warmer.


Ren has been asking all week to "Go to the beach and make a sand castle". This is the closest beach we could find.
