Little update

I haven't taken any pictures lately but we have been enjoying our Christmas break.  Kam went on a temple trip on Friday.  They planned a group date with 35 kids.  He had a great time.  Cole and Kam went to their first stake dance.  They where pretty please with themselves.
We had Chris and Holly come visit us this weekend.  It was fun to see them again and look forward to spending New Years with the Jensen family.
Kam went home with Chris this morning.  Chris left his 2 oldest girls here to play with Weston and Renton.  We will meet the in RockSprings tomorrow night, after work and Cole basketball practice.  Kam went early because he has a date with a friend he met at HSI.
The kids have one more week of Christmas break.  Doug and I both go back to work on Wednesday.

sick kids

Cole stayed home from school yesterday.  He still has a fever today.  Wyatt is staying home today.
We had a nice night last night.  With Cole not going to basketball, Kameron's therapy was cancel because of the weather.  Everyone was home for the first time sense we moved here.  We made sugar cookies, scraped lots of snow (10 inches) and play in the snow.  It is really cold this morning.  Not looking forward to leaving the house.

8 days I think that is a record

8 days sense I have blogged.  The main reason is I can't find the camera cord.  I have pictures to post, just cant get them off the camera.  We are loving the finished basement.  We never see the kids anymore.  But you can hear them, always a football game or soccer game going on down there.  We are busy with church, school and work.  I'm looking forward to Christmas break.  Sleeping in cleaning the house.  You know the important things.
Cole is seeing some success in basketball.  He played up on A team on Saturday and played really good.  Wyatt is getting to know some new kids.  We had a big party on Friday after school last week.  Everyone had a friend and Wyatt had 2.  Kam and Cole had a movie party as well, 4 girls came.  So the house is broken in with lots of friends.
I got a new computer for Christmas and it is taking me awhile to figure it out.
Some things I need to blog:
Elf on the shelf a new family tradition?  We forget to move him, it is a lot of work.
Cole basketball, Christmas parties, I don't know what else.

Christmas Program

we got to enjoy a 2 hour concert that Renton and Weston put on last week.  We sure do miss our small school when if come to musical performances.

Basketball

Cole is the starting point guard for Cheyenne East high school B team   He had a great game this weekend in Casper.  16 points and 13 pointer.  Oh and a bus crash, a pickup ran into his bus on the way home.  Nobody was hurt, but exciting for the kids.

everything but the carpet

We are getting so close to finishing the basement.  The finisher finished yesterday.  So we have trim and doors.  The carpet guys come tomorrow.  We are ready to move in.  I hope they can have it carpeted in 2 days. We of coarse have a busy weekend so it will be hard to get moved in down there.  Cole has a game in Casper.  Church parties and lots of other things on the schedule.  Weston and Renton had there Christmas concert last night.  It isn't the same and our small school but they try.  Cole had his first game yesterday.  We hope he gets the intensity back that he used to have.  They did win there game but it was rough.  Doug is in Laramie for 3 days, he left last night after the concert.  It is alot more work when he is out of town.
