If wall could talk

I think most of you know we are doing some remodeling down stairs. Last night Doug and I finish the rodes in the new closet. We where moving thing out of the old closet and found an old window. That is great news because it will cost allot less to put in a window if there is already one there. I guess they broad ed it up in one of it many remodels. Crazy. I don't love where it is but I'm sure Doug will make it look good.

Wes is still home from school. The Dr. said they will just send him home when he starts coughing so you might as well keep him home. He is bored out of him mind, and I'm tried of entertaining.

I can't believe I haven't told you

I told Doug we couldn't get a dog until Ren was potty trained. Well we know how that goes. Anyway with all the bird hunting him and Kam have been going, they have been talking about it alot. A German short hair is in our future. The mama is still pregnant but I think she is do anytime. The dog is with the mom for 6 weeks and then we take position.

We are hoping for a girl but who knows.

Ren and I are going to the family history center today. My mom sent me a JED com to put in my files. Hopefully we can get it done.

Wes made it to school today. I sent him with lots of cough dopes hopefully that will work.

Home sick

What do you do when your home sick? Well here are somethings Wes does. Play Ticket to Ride, our favorite game, thanks Becca and Josh. Watch lots of cartoons, well that is a given. Play outside. Wes likes me to have me watch him jump, so he sets a chair up for me and I watch him jump. Actually today I cleaned up the back yard. I really don't know how we get dog poop in the back yard. I guess it is just getting me warmed up for the new addition coming in a month. That is a whole other post.

We made birthday party invitations. Took and Bubble bath and a shower, crazy kid. Played with Ren and asked me about 50 times "when and the boys coming home?"

Needless to say he will be going to school tomorrow.

The weekend

We had a fun filled weekend. Doug reffed a tournament in Cody with Brandon. The kids got to spend all day with there cousins and had a great time. Wes was sick so we spent a few hours at the Dr office and in Walmart waiting for a prescription.
Krista took the big boys to the movies and they sound like it was a great time. They saw Spiderwick Chronicles I think that is what it is called.
Wes and I stayed home from the first part of church and Doug and Wes stayed home for the second part of church.
My mom said her tulips and daffodils are coming up. I would just like the snow to be gone. The yard is going to take a lot of cleaning though.
We worked on the closet yesterday, Doug brought home another shelf, he put that together. I was thinking about putting hardwood in the closet, we have a few boxes left from the kitchen. I need to take a picture, but it is a mess and I'm not ready to clean it out.
Well it is laundry day. I finally got to the library so I get to listen to a book on tape why I fold. Pretty exciting, have a great day.

What a difference a day makes

The kids are home from school on there winter break, whatever.
We have a busy day tomorrow Doug is reffing a tournament in Cody with his brothers. That should be lots of fun, just a long day. I think his first game is at 7 in the morning and last game at 8 at night. We are all going, poor Krista. I thought it would be a fun day for a movie. I'm thinking about Horton hears a Who.
I'm not sure what we are going to do today. I haven't seen the Wagon Wheel sense it burned down. Maybe we will go for a drive. The kids are riding bikes and enjoying the sun shine. That is always nice.

Vent...Warning.... cry Baby on board....

I'm warning you. This is a cry baby blog, fill sorry for me kind of day. So this is my complaint. We are going to Vegas in a few weeks and I was trying to loose a few more lbs before we go. I got 2 cute outfits that would look great with a few less pounds. So this week I've been going to the gym twice a day. Runny 1 mile and doing the circuit, twice a day. I've been gaining a pound a day, I'm up to 4 lbs. It is so depressing. I know I don't eat that great but I'm not a dieter, it depresses me more then working so hard with no results.
Sorry I had to vent to you, Doug is in Casper this week and probably doesn't really want to hear his wife is getting fatter by the day.
I could hardly workout today. I don't think I hardly got my heart rate up for 15 minutes. hmm maybe that is my problem.
So I'm starting to feel better, just get that off of my chest. Maybe the boys and I will go on a walk after school, spring is in the air for sure.

Crazy for the Cowboys

Well it is official, we own a Cowboy wagon. Doug got his birthday present yesterday. It made his day. Now everyone will know why we drive 10 miles under the speed limit.

Fun Monday

Doug, Ren, and I spent the day in Cody. Doug was fishing and I went shopping. I think we both had a great time. Doug was a very successful fisherman, lots of fish. Randy caught a BIG ONE, it was 38 in long and 30lbs. It almost filled his bathtub. They where pretty excited about it. Krista took some pictures of it. I will post them when she sends them.
We have a fun day planned, Wes is going to Cody for a field trip. We are planning on Cosmic swimming tonight, and Doug is leaving tommorow for Casper. He will be gone for the rest of the week.
Ren is feeling lots better, most of the boys are complaining about sore throughts. I don't think it is strep, I want to give it a few more days.
Ren and I are off to the gym this morning. I'm going to stop at the libriary on the way home and get a book on tape so I have something to liston to as I do the laundry. It is going to be a long laundry day.

No touchy

If you know Doug at all you will get this blog. Grandma brought some Valentine cookies over yesterday. Ren hates getting his hands dirt, so he came up with a great idea. Just lick the frosting off the cookie top. I don't know if he is feeling better but his cough is sounding lots better, something is actually moving down there.

We are expecting Doug home today, hopefully in time for the Valentine Dinner tonight.

This dinner tonight is sunday dress, I think I need a new dress.

The boys and I went swimming last night, it was bring your sweet heart to the pool night, so they took me. I really need a new swimming suit. I have been looking at the Mod swimming suit I wish I could go to a store and try one on but do they have stores? They are very cute, and the house we rented in Vegas has a pool.

Well I have posted lots of random things today. Hey have a great weekend.

My Valentine

I wanted to say Happy Valentine's Day to my Valentine.
Thanks so much for everything. He is my best friend, my biggest supporter, and the love of my life. He let's me be his styliest (sometimes, still can't get him to wear a sweater vest). He will do anything for me. He keeps all my secrets and doesn't judge me for them. He is a great provider, and the best dad to our kids. Happy Valentine's Day, Doug. Love you lots.

Busy Day

Ren and I had a rough night last in. Because Doug is done Ren has been in my bed, well lets be honest everyone has been in my bed. Anyway Ren finally settled down about 3 last night. He went to the dr. early this morning, he had a fever and a bad cough. The Dr got him started on antibotic and a good cough syrup. His lungs sounded good and his oxigen levels were really good, so I dropped him at grandpa's and went to Kam's school to help in his class.
When I got done with school grandma was home and she had lots of good idea for me to try. Vick's and a humidifier thanks for that.
Maybe by the time Doug gets home Ren will be feeling better.
I think Doug is have a fun time in Cheyenne, lots of friends to visit and go to lunch with. He found some nice Cowboys jersey's for the boys. He was pretty excited about them. No new gold but the traditional brown. He is headed to a BB game in Laramie tonight with Darren Casey. That should be a fun reunion.
I got notice today in the mail the our alumni plates will be here soon. Hope they are here for doug's birthday. I saw a county 9 number 2 in town yesterday. Doug is hoping we stay in the single digits. Hopefully we got it in in time.
We are busy making Valentine boxes and cards and cookies. Today it is Wes's day to get his stuff done. Luckily I get to bring carrot and dip to Wes's class and cookies to Wyatt's. That should be an easy enough job.

Tuesday

Doug flew safe to Laramie this morning. He said the plane was full, and everyone had a window sit. It is a small plane.

Parent teacher conference went really good. Only one "B" out of 4 report cards. Wyatt had a B in something I can't remember. We took the kids to lunch for there good grades. We haven't been out with the kid forever. They did a great job.

I was going to brag about the nice weather. The snow pack on the road is starting to get slushy, but it just started to snow again.

I hope Ren is starting to feel better, I don't know if I should take him to the Dr or not. I know RSV season is upon us. So I don't want to wait to long.

It's monday

The boys are out of school today for parent teacher conference. So I have to go to school. Ren is sick with something. No coughing but lots of drainage. I think he has a fever too. If I had to guess I would say a sinus infection. I'm planning a trip to the dr this morning.
Doug is going out of town all week to Cheyenne. He leaves tuesday and will be home friday. He is flying, that is nice, at leased he won't be on Wyoming roads. I keep on thinking spring should be coming. We just can't get warm enough to get this snow to melt. We were in Cody yesterday, the wind was blowing but it was 52'. When we got home it was 26'.
So my gas bill was high, but luckly I could pay it all. I thought it would be much worse with the low temps we had in January. That insulation we put in last year must be paying off.

yeah for friday

I didn't think I would say this but I have really missed working this week. You can only vacuum and do laundry so much. Just because you only get caught up for a few hour and them you have a pile of laundry and need to vacuum again.
We had a fun YW's the girls and I went and did heart attacks on grandma's in our ward. I had a fun time anyway.
I need to get moving, visiting teaching and I haven't read the listen yet.

Billing trip

I had a pretty successful day in Billing yesterday. I think I got everything on my list. Except for a coat for Kam. He is at a hard stage, inbetween boys and mens sizes. The boys have a fishing appointment after school and they are excited about that. They aren't going to be able to make it to the snow camp this weekend. I have young womens and Doug has a high priest party. And only one leader is driving so I guess the boys will stay home. I feel bad for Kam because I like some of those boys from Worland.
I bought some things for the closet. For some reason I got a wooden wine rack thinking it was a shoe rack. Hopefully everything else we work. There are 2 shelves on back order. I'm really excited about the baskets I got, some for .79 cents, off from $15. I knew if I shopped enough I could find something.
We are doing Heart Attackes for YW tonight. I have to make the sugar cookies, I think it might be cup cakes. But maybe I will get ambishes.

Super bowl

I think wives agree to super bowl parties because it is a end to football for a few months. Lets celebrate. We had a fun get together with friends from college. All the locals, Worland and Cody.

Sad News

Where I worked and my favorite resturant burned last night. I went home early because Brian offered to finish cleaning up. I got home at 9:30 and Suzanne called at 11:00 and told me Mike had a fire call to the Wagon Wheel. When I was on the phone the Greybull fire alarms went off.
