Ouch!!

I hope one of my family members can help me get these out over Christmas break. We are going to be in Cascade ID, for the holidays.

I had minor surgery, that felt like major surgery on Tuesday. It really looks better in the pictures.

I had to put something cute in the post.
Wes has his concert tonight and according to him "I need a pitch brown shirt." Pitch brown...like pitch black. The mind of a first grader.
I have been struggling with Kameron's Christmas presents this year. The other boys had lots of ideal for Santa. Kam couldn't come up with anything but a $200 IPOD. I have been thinking for a long time and thought of the prefect gift. I nice book light. He loves to read, in the car, and bed everywhere. It was a great ideal.
On Tuesday he went to a book competition. Where they read 10 certain books and then take a test on them. Kameron's team won, he was really please with everything because... they won a nice trophy and a BOOK LIGHT!!! It was a great ideal, because he loves the book light. Now I'm defiantly at a lose.
If you have a good idea for a 13 year old boy. Please let me know.

The spending TREE!

Doug and the boys are getting excited to go to New Mexico this weekend. It is the Wyoming Bowl game. I'm staying home with Ren, I'm sad my dad grew up in New Mexico I would of liked to see the state.
I took the car in to get a tuneup for the trip, oil change and tires rotated. The oil guy told me, our seals on the transmission are shot. It needs to be fixed right away! There is no transmission fluid in your transmission. It will be thousands of dollar fix. Oh that is great.
We had just dropped our steer off at the butcher shop that morning.
I took it straight to the shop and they gave me a lot better quote then the tire guys. Thank goodness. So we are one car down this morning. Doug left the Trooper for me today because I have to go to Cody for a few doctors appointment. He took the barely working un licensed van to work. We are planning on selling the van as soon as we get it fixed but who knows when that is going to be.
We have been very blessed this last month with lots of reffing for Doug. So our savings account looks nice but probably not so nice after this weekend.
I have the day off from babysitting it was nice to go to the gym with only one kid. Well I could write for another hour about all the little drama. But then I would have no reason to call everyone. Have a nice day.

It's really cold!!

We started the day at -20, isn't that crazy. It was just 50 and 60 a week and a half ago. Needless to say I'm not out and about much. Doug is taking Kameron to the doctor and going to Walmart for me. I have to work tonight and wouldn't be home in time. It was Cole's last game yesterday, his team beat Lovell. I won't say anymore about that. I heard there were parent thrown out of the 8th game. It was a mess.
Luckily I missed the bad game because Kameron was giving a presentation at the school board meeting. He did a great job.
We got home a 8:30 and the dinner I had made was cold. Everyone pitch in a we warmed it up had dinner, Wyatt did a great job on dishes, and we were in bed by 9:30.
Our day is about that busy today. Kameron doctors appointment, groceries and scouts. I better get moving.

Ren's request

"Mom I want you to make cookies. I will crake the eggs and eat the dough!" Doesn't he realise the hard spot he puts me. Don't get me wrong I love to make cookies. The problem is I eat the cookies. I need to find a recipe I don't like. I bet I can find one with cinnamon. Well I better get busy making some cookies. Spoil kid.

the big chill

4 degrees this morning, brr. It was 30 yesterday morning. We haven't got any snow but everyone around us has. We went to Cole's game in Worland last night. They did a good job. I think they won by around 10 points. Cole had 6 points. I didn't get to watch alot, Ren came and sat on my lap and said his tummy hurt. About 2 minutes later he started throwing up all over himself and on me of course. The people in the Worland school were so nice they took good care of us. It must of been a 30 minute bug because he had french fries and pop on the way home from the game. Who knows.
I did some more decorating yesterday the house is getting very festive.
I'm getting excited for the craft fair on Saturday. It will be fun.
On the 14th we take our steer in to be butcher. I hope we know what we are getting into. It is a big cow. I guess it is a good thing the boys only got one deer this year.
I got 4 moles removed last week, there is a really funny story behind it. I don't have enough guts to post it so next time you see me ask me about it. Anyway I had two testes that where bad so I have to go back and get some more skin around them removed. I hope I live, it really hurt last time.
Well I better get moving the gym is calling my name. Have a great day.

half day till vacation

Remember these from last year. The boys are excited to make them again this year.

The boys have a half day of school. Then Thanksgiving vacation starts! I'm excited, I know Cole is needing a long break. He is running on empty the last few day. I guess the new hormones in his body causes lots of tears.

I got three tutu made, and three pairs of leg warmers. I did the no sew way. I can't keep my kids out of them. Who knew.

I got the pie crust out this morning. I'm planning on getting the pies done this morning. And then a really deep clean with help from the boys this afternoon.

I was planning on selling the tutu and baby legs together. Do you think that is a good ideal?

How do you think it turned out?
I think the leg warmers are so cute.

Monday

We had a busy Monday.
We had to go to the Dermatologist, Dentist, and Orthodontist.
We were happy to get out of the dentist with no cavities. We weren't so lucky at the dermatologist, I had 4 moles removed and a wart frozen. It was a bad experience because I wasn't prepared for all that work to be done. I went in for a sore on my scalp. I don't think we even talk about my scalp. I have eight stitches. He is sending samples to the lab. I will get the results in 2 weeks when I get my stitches out.
Tricia sent me a fun box of crafts. I'm really excited to get to work.
We are getting excited for the Thanksgiving break, hoping for lots of hunting and shopping. Oh and of coarse the Christmas tree.

pressure post!!

What we have been up to...

Kameron is back at school full time, no more therapy. He and Cole are in the same class for Science Olympiad. They love the class, Cole thinks Kam is so smart. They are building a bridge out of bolas wood. Cole has tested every piece of wood to make sure it is strong enough. Needless to say Kam's bridge will be very short. I had to get after Kam for not letting Cole help. I heard he got to hold a drying stick and some how messed that up.

Cole is having lots of success with basketball. They enjoyed there first win last night over Basin.

Wyatt is in an after school program, he is loving it. They are building a robot out of logos. He isn't enjoying the girls in his group. "They get to make all the decisions," but I'm sure he will survive. He started basketball last night, Doug is helping coach.

Wes is doing great in school, he loves to read. I thought Kameron liked school. Wes loves school and his teacher. She is doing a great job with him.

Ren and I are at home with our little A. We are doing some crafting and going to the gym. We watch one of my favorite movie today, Jane Eyre.

Doug and I have a date with Brandon and Krista tonight. We are going to watch New Moon. I'm so excited. I'm hoping to get out of town a little early and get my thanksgiving shopping done. We are planning a small, just us thanksgiving, with lots of hunting. I told Doug he better get me a puzzle or something to do why they are done. I'm planning on doing lots of crafting for the Holiday fair.
We are planning a trip to the mountain to get Christmas trees. Grandpa has a new fabulous toy. A side-by-side 4 wheeler. The boys have lots of plans for it why grandpa is done for Thanksgiving.
Our ward is very busy. We have a funeral and are feeding 170 people. A few hours later is our ward Thanksgiving dinner and we are again feeding 200 people. We have a nice new baby that comes home today. A few surgeries, I'm going to be busy all day tomorrow cooking turkeys and pies and what ever else I can find. I won't do it all day because Cole has a game in the morning.
Well I guess I'm done with my pressure post. I wish I had something exciting to share.

H1N1 will we ever know

Cole has been home sick since Sunday. Monday he started fevering, Tuesday he starting the Tamafue. We are planning on him going back to school on Thursday. He probably can't breath good enough to play ball. He has a game thursday night. I guess we will wait and see.
We went to the health department and got our H1n1 shots last night. Doug and I where able to get them because I babysit. We should be ready for the Mexican cruise in January.
Anyway back to the story... Why we were there we learned about the Meningococcal vaccine. I signed Kam up for that one too. He is so sick I can't believe it. He can't move his arm and has a 101 fever. I pumped him full of ibuprofen and sent him to school. He has been home once for a nap and is now off to school again. Poor kid, he cant miss anymore school.
Doug has veterans day off and took his dad hunting. They wnere excited to go.

are we done yet

I hear about how bad the economy is and I think to myself. My family is literally keeping the doctors in business.
Kam and I were in Cody to day. He had a great appointment. He doesn't have to where his braces any more. He can go back to PE but no running, jumping or slightly moving fast. I think Kam can handle that. I think he is going to start going to the gym with me. They have all the things he has permission to use.
Cole is going to the doctor tomorrow at 10. Kam has therapy and 12. I have the boys award assembly at 2. It is just a busy week.
Well I better get to enjoying all my teenagers at mutual. Have a great night.

weekend review

Cole had his first game. They have so many boys out this year, the 6th grade got to wear the through back uniforms.

#33 this year

The officials where pretty good.

Ren was a pirate

Weston and his teacher Mrs. King

Kam all dressed up for Spirit week.

Cole going all out at 60's day.
We didn't get to do all the trick or treating we wanted to. We had two families come and pick up the last of the puppies. I can't believe they are all sold. Everyone seemed to love their new puppies, we were excited for everyone.
Cole and Wyatt went trick or treating with all there friends. They had a great time, they sent the whole night on our side of town. It was lots of fun for them. Kameron had his first boy/girl party at Logan's house. He has a big, social group of kids. I think he had a good time.
We got the church cleaned yesterday, and watched the cowboys game. It was a great weekend. Everyone is sleeping in, I'm glad because it is fast Sunday.

3 puppies left

Dan the sire's owner came to get his dogs this morning. I went and picked him up at the airport. He few in and didn't stay long. He picked Cash (he was named Cash because he was good as money in the bank) Big Joe, and he bought Cinder. I was surprised but grateful. One puppy left to sell. I hope he isn't hard to get rid of. We had 2 other buyers but they wanted girls.

One of our buyer is taking off work on wed. to pick up her puppy. She is really excited.
Wes was awarded GES sharing kid of the quarter. I would of liked to go to the assembly but I didn't know about it. Wyatt got a gift certificate because I filled out a survey at school, we never win anything.
Doug is home and cutting up Cole's deer. He also started cleaning up the puppy poop. Let us know if you know anyone puppy shopping.

I think this is big Joe, he doesn't look big in this picture but he is Big Joe for sure.

This is Cendar, she is heavy as a center block, and she is grey.

The puppies are so fun. They have already passed up Ren he doesn't like their poky teeth and toe nails. Next Wednesday is the

big day.

favorite quotes of the week

This was from Wyatt
"I'm not crying, my eyes are sweating!"

Cole's
"your socks untied"

Doug and I had a great trip to Laramie, the weather was nice. It was good to see our Laramie friends again. We stopped in Casper and shopped for an hour our two, I loved that. We got home to happy kids and a clean house.
Kameron trip to Jackson was lots of fun, I think. He had very little to say. He could remember what they served for dinner or anything.
Cole starts basketball tonight. I didn't report that Cole got his deer. I guess he unloaded his gun and Uncle Chris unloaded his gun on this deer. They say Cole got the kill shot in the back. Sorry if that was to much information. I need to take some pictures of it with Cole sometime.
I started going to the gym again this morning. Ren did really good, Abby got a little fussy but I was ready to go so it would out okay.
Kam has therapy at 12 today so I really need to get moving.
Kollin's bridge naming is today. My parent and Sara where headed to Seattle for the day. I hope it goes well.

a mountain lion where?

The kids came home from school and said they had to stay inside because there was a mountain lion on the dike. I guess it was a teacher that saw it. I would think she knew what she saw. They called in game and fish and they couldn't find it. It was pretty exciting for everyone. I will have to wait for the newspaper to come out to see all the details. Kameron goes to Science school in Jackson tommorow the bus picks him up in Cody. I'm getting excited to go to Laramie. We should have good road and that it nice.
We are enjoying some fall weather in the 40's and 50's, we have already had highs of 20 so this is great.

Season Done

Cole's football season ended with a smash. This is his 6th grade team. I know it is sad they couldn't get more kids out. They beat Lovell by a touchdown and Cole scored it. He had a 60 yard run for the touchdown. We are going to enjoy one day off!! Can you believe basketball start on Tuesday!!

This is what happened the last play of the game. He ran right out of his shoe. I asked him how it happened and he didn't know.

He walked around in 19 degree temp with no shoe on. It was so cold, it got up to 19 by the end of the game, burr.
