Long Weekend

these pictures are out of order. This is the bandage after surgery

In the ER in Worland

On friday night after the football game. Cole had a bad stomach ache. We end up taking him to the ER at Midway. He had a slight fever and no other symptoms. They did a blood test and a urine test. His white blood cell count was really high. He had some signs of appendicitus, they wanted to send him to a surgeon. We picked Worland. We had to go to Worland ER, get more blood test, a CAT scan. We where really pleased with everything. The surgeon was there at 5 in the morning ready to read the CAT scan and Cole was in surgery at 6. It all happened really quick.
We thought we would get to go home that day, but the Doctor wanted another round of antibiotic and more blood tests. Jane brought the boys in to see the Cole. It was nice to have them at the hospital. We watch tv, played video games. All the stuff we would of done at home. Doug took everyone home about 6 at night.
This morning the dr was in our room at 8 signing the papers for releasing Cole. We just had to wait for our ride, and Cole's breakfast, he was tired of jello and popsicle. Doug got to the hospital at 9 and we were home by 10.
McBride's took the kids to church for us. Thanks so much for that.
I went to church it was really nice. The Nelson had dinner prepared for the ward. They were celebrating Emma getting her Young Women in Excellence. It was really nice.
Now we are having a quiet night. I'm already ready for bed, it is going to be hard to go to work in the morning.
Hope you all had a great weekend.

Can you say Over scheduled

We are back to school with a vengeance.
Everyone is feeling the pressure. I think everyone cried twice last night. Cole and Wyatt are feeling it the most, with football, yards, and homework. And don't forget friends lots of friends.
My job is going better. My cookies where a great success, and I made bread for cheese roll up. Yes I remembered the salt and everything. I'm still not keeping up on the food line. But I think that is their only complaint.
Doug is busy and work. He does a good job of keeping the dishes done in the morning before school. When I get home everything looks nice.
We have our first home inspection for adoption/foster care this afternoon. We had a long night last night getting everything cleaned and put away for that. Just mainly the laundry. I'm posting now because she is running late.
I will try to take some pictures of the boys at the football game tonight.

Not the best day ever

Weston 3rd grade, Mr. Hunt
Wyatt 7th grade
Cole 8th grade
Renton kindergarten, Mrs. Zeller
Kameron 10th grade
Renton 1st picture from kindergarten.
Well today was my first day of actually cooking. I only made one huge mistake. I may or may not of put the salt in the 300 rolls I made. I fill terrible about it. I know I didn't because my salt container is still clear full. (it should have a 2/3 of a cup taken out of it) Well I guess I'm trying to keep the kids on a low sodium diet.
The other thing I did was, cut my thumb on the pan that you need to be careful with or you will cut yourself. I was taking it out of the dish washer.
Needless to say, I lived threw the day, and didn't get fired.
Everyone had a great first day of school. The middle school boys are at football practice. Kam is headed to work. Renton it swimming at Elsa's, it is a busy day.
I will have to get the camera for the first day of school pictures.

Off to work

I had my first day at work today. It was lots of hard work, we washed everything and put lots of food away. I hope I can do it.
Probably the worse job was working in the freezer, it was so cold.

Sunday Shots

Looks like Ren isn't quite ready for church. It is nice to have a girl in the house.
Yes it is that painful

We have a few extras for our family picture. Cole and his second cake. It wasn't near as good as Lanae's cake.
We had a busy Sunday. I was teaching, the RS had to wait for me to get done with Cole ordinance before I could finish the lesson.

Cole's Birthday

I'm sad this is blurry. Cole at 14.

a girl on our ward made him a cake for his birthday. It tasted really good.
This picture of the sleep over we had the other night.
Cole and his new soft shell.
Cole was excited for his birthday. We went out for dinner. He is planning a trip to the movie tomorrow with his friends. They want to watch Cowboys VS Aliens. Sounds like a classic. He finally got a soft shell jacket, he has wanted one sense this spring. He got a football game on xbox, and 3 pairs of shoes. Only one pair fit.

Update

We didn't get to go camping with the extra kids. They didn't have any coats or sweaters, Doug had been on the Mt and said it was to cold with out them.
Our trailer had to go to the shop after scout camp. The electrical went out in it. The part is $230 and the labor was double that. I paid more for a trail fix then a doctors appointment. We also took the alternator in on the boat. They couldn't test it here but offered to ship it to Billings, to see what was wrong with it. We love our toys. But hate to pay for them.
I got my paper work turned in for my job. I was surprised to find out it has full benefits. I also have the bus picking up the boys in the morning. They are stopping right outside our house. That is great news, I was worried about them getting to school.
I haven't done anything I was suppose to do this week. My RS lesson, haven't even looked at it. We were going to get the sun room ready for seminary. They asked to have it at our house for the first week. It would be great but we have lots for extras mess makers this week.
The extra kids have been lots of fun. I'm so sad, they got eaten really bad by mosquitoes. My boys didn't get a bite and neither did Lizzy, but everyone else is miserable. The kids are great, they sleep though the night. Just nice happy kids.
Everyone is home from scout camp. It sound like a great success, they even got some merit badges.
Well I better quit blogging and at least read my lesson. Have a fun weekend.

Scout camp

Doug was in charge, so. . . there was lots of fishing.
This looks like Tre.
Cole with a giant.
This big guy was bedded down in there camp when they got there. They waited for him to leave before they got out of the car.
He wasn't in a hurry.

Picture update

I have 2 pro mowers, they had the grass mowed in minutes.

We had Lizzie's birthday party last night.
