And so it starts

It's amazing how easy it is to keep kids happy. Our ride was great as soon as we found enough sun glasses for everyone.

Kam starts his braces.

Wyatt has in spacers. He is hurting quite a lot. He is going to have a rude awaking here on next Monday. Poor guy he doesn't know what he is getting into.

Shopping on line

I've been trying to do some shopping online. I'm not having any luck. I'm thinking about taking the boys to Billings on friday. It is there winter break. I just keep on reminding myself (5boys in the womens dressing room) I know it isn't going to work but I love to shop so much I'm willing to give it a try. Well wish me luck.

What happened over the weekend

We had a great weekend, they go by so fast. Well anyway, we went to the basketball games on friday night. It was fun, it was the last home game and we got to see all the seniors. The band did a really neat percussion performance at half time. It was really cool.
I have been wanting some new outfits, so Doug took me to Cody for some shopping. We weren't very successful, everything in the store was still very wintery, I was hoping for some new spring styles. We did get Wyatt's birthday shopping done. (Notice how I didn't plural the word store!)
We went to dinner at Jensen's after church, grandpa had the idea of have prime rib for Christmas. Doug suggested we have it for his birthday. I get nervous cooking an expensive piece of meat. I will have to talk to all the great cooks I know and see if I can get something arranged.
I just got a downeast catalog in the mail. YES! It is going to be a great day.

The bee bee

Ren found some air soft bee bee yesterday. So naturally they ended up, up his nose. It took me a while to figure out what he was saying. Luckily we got one out. And then he told me there was one in the other side as well. We did have a talk about sticking things up your nose, and hopefully he learned his lesson.

Cole is home with strep today. He is recovering well, enjoying time on the Wii, you know the important things. I really need to think about buying stock in Amoxicillin. It feels like someone is on it once a week.
I hope your day goes while.

Valentine's Day

We had a fun weekend. Doug and I enjoyed Valentine's Day at the Stake party. Those in charge did a great job. I got some great flower. The lilies really smell really bad, the boys can't stand them. I got the questions "did someone throw up" and "is there something rotten in the kitchen" we finally figured out it was the flowers.

Hey Mom....

"Hey Mom, I got some yellow in there." I have been hearing this a lot lately. And I'm not complaining it is a great thing. Ren's potty training is going great. I hope all his hard work pays off. We are having lots of dry nights.
The reason he has to tell me if there is yellow is because he doesn't get a treat unless "there is some yellow in there." It is really cute.

Update

Yesterday I started making my blog book. I hope everything goes okay.
Doug is going to Riverton today for a meeting, it gets out at 5:00 so he will be home late.
The boys worked on their Valentine boxes last night. No a lot of creativity out of them, but I really can't blame them. We are getting excited to go to Worland on Friday for the Stake Valentine Dinner. We are trying to get the kids all organized for that.

Wyatt and the teeth

This is the latest in interior design. If you couldn't tell by the tone of my writing I'm not overly excited about it. The kids play basketball, and soccer, and wrestle, and football a lot right in this area of the house.
I'm really excited for spring and outside sports.

We have decided on Wyatt's plan of action for he teeth and jaw. We have got a few opinions, and decided to go with the doctor from Cody. He is going to widen the roof of Wyatt's mouth. Wyatt is going to have to wear a face mask to sleep every night. This will prevent his lower jaw from growing and bring has upper jaw forward. It all start on the 25 of Feb.

Laramie's future husband

We had a guy from Jackson call the other day. He heard we where looking for a daddy for Laramie puppies. I must admit I was a little surprised. Everything is happening so fast. I hear he is a great dog. Dan the dogs owner wants to meet Laramie. I'm nervous, because Laramie isn't the best behaved dog. He said we are doing a good job if she doesn't jump on everyone when they go outside, which she does. And if she comes back when you call. She does that when she feels like it. Anyway, it should be interesting.
I'm excited for the weekend except for the fact Doug and I have been asked to speak in church. I think I have my talk ready but it is really short. Which is fine with me, but I don't think Doug will be very happy about that.
Hope you have a great weekend.
It is the wrong picture. Sorry I will have to have Doug help me.Posted by Picasa

Question of the day

Wes has been loosing a lot of teeth lately and we had this conversation this morning:
Wes gave me a big toothy smile and asked. "Mom which tooth is the SWEET tooth". It was so cute I looked in his mouth and told him I didn't know. Then I asked him. " What does a sweet tooth do?" He told me, it is the tooth that likes popcorn and cookies and stuff. Wyatt was listen to the conversation and was thinking about it pretty hard. He really wasn't sure but he said " I really don't think I have a sweet tooth, but I'm going to the Orthodontist tomorrow I will ask him if I have one. It was so funny.

Party Over!!

We had a instant party over when Doug came home to get his glasses. Everyone was sent to school. Well, Wes was sent to school. We are going to go have lunch with him. I have to get some sandwiches made for lunch. Just thought I would give you an update!

Instant potty training

I knew I had to go to Cody for some reason. Oh yeah I'm out of diapers. Doug and I have never been potty trained so fast. I say Doug and I because Ren really isn't. We are just getting lucky. He did have a dry night. That was really nice because he came into our bed last night in the middle of the night.

Ren got all his cute curls cut off yesterday. I was sad to see it go.

I hope the weather gets warm enough to melt some of this snow. It is crazy, I'm not used to snow on the ground all winter long. I talk about the weather a lot. Can you tell I'm getting tired of the cold. What I wouldn't give for a 45 degree day. Maybe it will be 45 degrees in Cody.

Ainsley isn't feeling good today so her mom is going to come and get her after lunch. I was going to wait and go to Cody then. I hope I can keep Ren from from having any accidents until then.

Wes is home sick, well he heard I was going to Cody and started coughing. No, No I'm not that easy, he had me up all night with his coughing. So he is a little sick. I know I'm a push over. But if they are getting good grades I like my kids to stay at home once and a while.
