Pressure

I'm starting to feel the pressure. I have to teach this sunday and I have the wed activity for all the Young Women next week, I haven't done anything for, any ideas? I thought something about Valentines Day but I'm having a hard time coming up with anything. I thought it would be fun to go to Robb's and have him teach the girls some cooking. But I forgot to ask him. So I don't know what we are going to do.
I better get started on Young Women, I hope I get the bread made. It is a nice thought anyway.

Motivated

I'm having the hardest time getting motivated today. I need to paint the closet wall down stair. I'm having a hard time figuring out what color. If I do white then I want to do dark shelves, which I really love but they are more expensive. If I do a dark wall with white shelves, the shelves are cheaper but I don't like them as much and dark walls in a basement isn't a great idea. So I guess I'm not going to do anything. I need to wait for Wes to get home and go get paint supplies. I have a few more minutes to make the decision.
Hope your motivated then I am today.

Tricia's new baby

Tricia and Eric's new baby Brek Kollin Freeman. They are enjoying lots of snow. I feel like we are having a Chinook. Warm winds melting all the snow.

I found a better picture of Doug. I think my kids all got the Nielson chin. Sorry boys.

weather

I posted yesterday and something went wrong and it didn't post. So I will try again. I was 2' when we woke up this morning. That was a nice change from the last week.
I didn't tell you about the 6th grade hamster. I guess with the cold weather and the middle school heating, the hamster froze to death. Pretty sad.
I elementary school flood was worse then first reported, one wing, the office, library, and cafeteria where really damaged. No lunch in the cafeteria, they are making cold lunches at the high school. The kids are liking the new changes for awhile anyway.
Hope everyone has a good weekend.

To cold for school

We had some sad news, a pipe broke at the new elementary school and flooded it. So NO SCHOOL. They should have it all cleaned up and dried out for tomorrow. The boys are loving life, to bad it is to cold to go outside at play. We haven't even scraped the front drive yet. I guess I will put it on my to do list.
I already have the house ready to go this morning, it is amazing what gets done when you say. No xbox until the house is clean.
I finally made bread last night. It turned out so good. That is a big deal for me. I usually forget something. Like the salt. We had some fry bread for dinner and it was a big hit. I will have to remember that.
I'm so excited milk is on sale 2 for $6, almost a whole dollar off a gallon. I want to buy it and freeze it, but Doug doesn't like it after it has been frozen. So I guess it will be milk at every meal until next week.
I got a good package from E bay yesterday. Some clothes for Ren, they where all very nice. The 2T jeans are a little big but they are better then nothing. And we are expecting a growth spurt anytime soon.
Hope everyone has a good day, stay warm, and out of the stock market (joke)

BRRRRRR!!!

It is cold outside. I'm afraid of what my gas bill is going to be. It was -24' at the house this morning, but when I drove the kids to school today it say -31' on the Maverick sign.

Doug and Kam went ice fishing yesterday and had a great time. The weather was very cold but no wind so they managed just fine. They caught 25 fish. It was funny to see the frozen solid fish. The were like bricks of ice. They had to wait a few hours for them to defrost before they could clean them.
This is an old picture, we have about another 5 inches, but I'm not going outside to take a new one.

It is supposed to get into the teens today, hope they are right.

Have a freezing cold day.

True Color

Take this test!

You're a bold, confident orange. A warm, powerful color that indicates a strong, welcoming personality, orange is the mark of people who are social and extroverted by nature. Vibrant, with an upbeat attitude, you have a bright, inviting demeanor. Energetic and fun-loving, you're a real friend-magnet. Your easy charm and unassuming manner make you the sort of person people want to meet and get to know better. Well-rounded and fun to be around, you enjoy helping others, so it's no surprise that orange also symbolizes attraction. Orange is an extraordinary color — for an extraordinary person.

Baby News

Tricia had her baby yesterday at 4:00 ish. She had some complications but nothing Dr. Perry couldn't fix. They had a 7 lb and 18in baby boy and named him Brek Kollin. She will be in the hospital a little longer then normal but she plans on being home by sunday. Mom said he is very cute boy with his our distinct look. I can't wait to see him.

New baby

My sister Tricia is in the hospital this morning. Last I heard she was a 5 and had pain meds. She isn't quiet 37 weeks but that is a long time for her to stay pregnant. I'm not sure if she knows for sure what she is having. Hoping for a boy but who knows. Hope all goes well today.

We got lots of snow, for Greybull. I would guess 4 inches. But it is just a guess. It makes me want to say home a watch movies or read a book. I took some pictures but I lost the camera cord. It is probably with the phone I can't find.

Happy it is friday, except we need grocery so bad. I would like to go to Billings, but it is hard to justify the gas. Cody would be nice, just something to choose from. But the roads are bad. I guess Ron's is going to get more of my money today.

Hope you have a great weekend.

New Wall Paper

I thought I would try something new today. I don't know if I like that it shows though the pictures. Well it was easy to change so I don't have to keep it. Winter came last night. We should get a few inches of snow. It will be great for the sledding party. I need to take some more pictures of the closet my mom has some questions about it. Hopefully I can get that done sometime.

Trisha took this picture of Wyatt at the lodge.

Boring.....

Without YW tonight I am thinking, "what am I going to do tonight". Doug has a meeting in Worland so it is nice that I can stay home. Doug is working hard on the clothes. He made me a deal, if he could get the clothes "done," he is going ice fishing in Cody on monday. The temple is closed so we will have to shoot for a different time.
We have a ward party on saturday, a sledding party. It should be fun, I think Doug is in charge of planning it but he didn't make me in charge of anything. Smart move.
Hope you all have a good day.

It's Grandma's Birthday

It's Grandma's birthday today, Happy birthday! We are so lucky to live close and enjoy her so much. Especially the good cooking, baby sitting, and good friendship (she always has a wipe to keeps my kids faces clean, I really appreciate that) She is so helpful with everything.
They came over the morning of Kollin's death and she helped me so much, getting everything ready, cleaning the house, making breakfast, and watering my poor garden. She always thinks of the simple things that need the most attention. Thank you so much for all you do. I feel truly loved and supported. Thanks for raising such a great man strong in his beliefs and who loves his family. We are so blessed to live close. We love you.

snap, crackle, pop

And so it starts. I remember my brothers braking every piece of furniture we owned when I was growing up. It looks like my boys have got the same knack.
Maybe you will notice in the back ground the start of my new clothes. That 2x4 on the ground there, do you see it? Pretty exciting. I wonder how long it is going to stay like that?
Hope you have a great weekend.

The Remodel

I went to Cody yesterday and got some drywall and 2x4's to start the new clothes. Now I just have to get Doug inspired to start constructing. He made the comment that he wishes Josh was here to help or at least have a partner in crime. Wes and I moved the bed into Ren's room so we don't have to worry about all the dust. Hopefully I can get him excited about do it. Any ideals?
I have New Beginning to night. Hopefully that goes okay. Hope you have a great day.

A little trivia

Guess what we had for dinner last night. I will give you a hint, it is something I have never eaten before. Well you know the proverbial saying " tastes like chicken" but it is true. It tastes like chicken. But it isn't. Any guesses, if I give you to many hints you will get it easily. Good luck guessing.

The Cabin

We had a wonderful time at the cabin in Island Park. The snow was great, it was pretty cold for all the people not from Wyoming. The cousin got reacquainted, and now we are recovering.
