Memorial Day Weekend

We started our Memorial Day Weekend with a bang. Doug worked until 2 in the afternoon. We went out to dinner, and camped at home and made smores.

I've been working on the stairs here and there. These are some pictures. There were at least 100 staples to remove so I'm dragging my feet about doing the tops. I forgot how to move the pictures. They aren't in order.

I need to take some pictures

Cole got some awards for school yesterday. First in his class in Science and in Language Arts. Language Arts? Really. I asked him how he managed that, he said he was the only one that tried. I wish he would TRY in Library. Luckily our librarian is retiring. Wyatt got lucky only one year with her. Cole thinks he is going to get a B in library. The first B in all our middle school years. Wyatt is pretty pleased about it. He is pretty sure he had a B in Technology.

The rain has subsided and Doug is working construction like crazy. He missed our ward party last night. We had a fun swimming party.
Kam officially got a job at the pool. He starts June 1st. We are excited for him.
I have to come up with some creative mothering. The kids are fighting like crazy. They had lots of chores this morning. Clean the kitchen, take out the trash. I'm holding off on all the vacuuming and folding laundry. That way the boys, will have something to do when they get home. I need more chores.
We will see if that works.

Finally something blog worthy

mom asked about our road, and I wanted to have proof I did have tulips. The deer are moving in. I'm so sad.
This boys was tested today to see if he gets to go to kindergarten. He passed, way to go Ren

what am I thinking

Okay it is crazy,
we are getting new carpet in the living room and tv room
and look what I want to do to the stairs!
I was going to paint the top of the stairs the same brown trim in this room. Then white trim. What do you think? I was thinking if it didn't work we could just carpet them again.

Kam's room, Kam is busy taking his life guard class. He is gone from 5 to 9 every night.

This is the view from all those windows. They are destroying our street even more this morning.
Doug is busy destroying the road to Lovell. It is a rain morning, and he will have to keep the contractor from paving in this weather. He wasn't looking forward to that.

Last week we changed some kid bedrooms around. Cole and Wyatt are sharing a room. Weston and Ren are sharing a room, down stairs.
It is a little sad to paint over the cowboy colors, my sisters and mom helped me paint.
I thinking they need to come again. It has been 5 years. Our whole house could be painted again. This maintains thing sure can keep you busy.

conference track meet

In the 75 meter hurdles, I think he took 5th in conference.

Track was nice this year with 6 meets scheduled and only 3 meets held. (we had a cold spring)

Need a tow

There is a really bad rock slide on the mountain. Doug is up there administering the contract.
The road was sheer ice and he was in a 2 wheel drive. He ended up getting a tow to the sight, from a snow plow. Crazy! (aren't you surprised at how clean his office is?)

Award Ceremony

The Greybull High School Award Ceremony was last night. Kam got two awards, Best in Biology, and a 3.5 or higher first year. He also lettered in academics. Way to go Kam, now you just need to find a job!
